The 2007 Chrysler Pacifica is the last model of the Chrysler Pacifica line. The company decided to end the production of the Pacifica models due to negative feedback and lack bad prospective regarding the recovery of the investment and the possible profit.

Chrysler Pacifica first entered the market in 2004. The first Pacifica was designed by Thomas Freeman and produced in 2003. it is a mid-size crossover minivan, with a V6 engine, that is perfect for trips, vacations and places you go with many friends, in general. It has a capacity of 6 seats, even though critics say the last two seats in the third row are not so adult friendly as they are promoted to be. They are suitable only for children and they leave almost no space for cargo. However, they can be easily folded if they are not needed and you can earn more space for your luggage. Chrysler Pacifica comes in a variety of exterior colors. You can chose from silver, red, grey, green, blue and white.

From 2004 to 2008, Chrysler Pacifica was continually improving its exterior and interior. The first engine was a 3.5L V6. It was upgraded in the next years to 3.8 L EGH V6. The 2007 Chrysler Pacifica model has a 4.0 SOHC V6 engine. In contrast with the older models, the 2007 Chrysler Pacifica is actually upgraded on several levels. Besides the newly added engine, along with it came Dual Exhaust. The exterior gained a new style, as wel. In addition, new options were added: rearview camera incorporated into the navigation system, seat fabric and wheel option. The interior of the car benefited from a new seat fabric, YES Essentials, odor resistant, stain resistant and antistatic.

The 2007 Chrysler Pacifica sales were down to 53,947 cars from 78,243 in 2006. After the Chrysler Pacifica model released in 2007, the Chrysler Company produced only a Limited series of cars in 2008. Among the models continued to be produced, there is the Touring Chrysler Pacifica (which was first entered in 2005; it has 6 seats and more interior featured than the Base one), the Limited Chrysler Pacifica (it included DVD, GPS, sunroof and more extra features; this model was first released in 2005 as well) and the Signature Series, released in 2005 – 2006 for the first time.

On November 1st 2007, the company announced they would stop the production of Chrysler Pacifica 2007 and won’t update any future models, due to “worse than average” reports from the buyers regarding reliability. Consumer Reports magazine rated Pacifica with a consumer satisfaction of just 48%.
